Setup Guide for Zoom

Ignition connects to Zoom to help product teams understand what is blocking revenue. Specifically, Ignition uses AI to aggregate and summarize call transcripts with customers and prospects to understand what's preventing a deal from closing. It helps product teams identify potential product gaps by creating Product Ideas in Ignition.

This integration does not create custom objects in Zoom and can be used by any Zoom plan.

Install:

1. Log into Ignition

2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations

3. Locate the Zoom card

4. Click Connect

5. Select your Zoom account (portal)

6. Click Choose Account

7. Review the requested scopes on this screen. Ignition requests access to read and write to Zoom objects.

8. Click Connect app

9. You will be redirected to the Ignition "Integrations" page and new configuration options will appear. See the next section.

Configure:

In your Ignition account > Settings > Integrations > Zoom:

1. Decide how often you'd like Ignition to generate Product Ideas from Zoom. We recommend checking the box to "Create product ideas automatically."

2. Click Continue.

Disconnect:

Note: If you disconnect your Zoom account from Ignition, Zoom data will no longer sync to Ignition as Product Ideas. Existing data will remain in your Ignition account.
